About PDEP
PDEP is a fun, interactive program that strengthens your relationship with your child, promotes their healthy development, and teaches them essential life skills. Whatever your child’s age – from baby to teenager – PDEP will help you guide them without shouting, hitting or arguing.
All those who care for children experience stress, frustration, exhaustion and anger. Sometimes those feelings lead us to react in ways that harm our relationships. In PDEP, you will learn how to manage conflict while improving communication and your relationship with your child.
Parents and caregivers meet in small groups for weekly 2-hour sessions over 9 weeks. Across the sessions, they learn about their children’s development, how to manage their stress, and how to resolve conflict with their children in positive ways.
All parents and caregivers need support – and all are welcome in PDEP programs. We work with caregivers of every background to create respectful, supportive environments where children thrive.
